    Dr. Evan Petersen is the Director of Research and Faculty Development and Professor at the Bowling Green State University School of Physical and Occupational Therapy. He is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopaedics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He is an active researcher having published in The New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy, European Spine Journal, and British Medical Journal. He received the Rose Excellence in Research Award from the Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2021. He has presented at numerous national and international physical therapy conferences on the topics of clinical reasoning, patient/client management, and differential diagnosis. Dr. Petersen received a Doctor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Baylor University. He holds a master’s degree in physical therapy from Baylor University and a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Brigham Young University.
