Assistant Clinical Professor
Dr. George received her doctorate in occupational therapy at the University of Toledo after earning a bachelor’s degree in gerontology from Bowling Green State University.
George is an experienced clinician in the areas of skilled nursing and long-term care. She has a special interest in working with the older adult population to promote successful aging in place.
George has a passion for promoting wellness through restoration, compensation, adaptation, environmental modification and caregiver education and training. She is currently invested in fostering the next generation of OT students through collaborative learning with an emphasis on evidence-base practice and client-centeredness.
