    About

    Steven H. Cady, PhD, is a Professor of Management & Organizational Behavior serving as the founding Director of the Doctoral Program in Organization Development & Change in the Schmidthorst College of Business at Bowling Green State University. He is an author, speaker, and consultant on topics of collaborative change, motivation, and teaching. Dr. Cady has over thirty journal publications and books, while having served on the boards for the Academy of Management Organization Development & Change Division, National Training Laboratories (NTL), and the International Society for Organization Development and Change (ISODC). He serves on the editorial board for Public Integrity and on the editorial review boards for the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science and Organization Development Review.

    He has served as the Chief Editor for Organization Development Journal and is co-author of The Change Handbook, 36k+ copies sold in four languages, PBS DVD title Life Inspired, and founder of NEXUS4change, a global network with 8k members. He has over 30 publications and books. He is the founder of myLibrary publishing app. He serves as Chief Editor of the Collaborative Change Library and the Principles of Management and Organizational Behavior textbooks. His PhD in Organizational Behavior and Research Methods is from Florida State University, along with an MBA and a BSBA in Finance from The University of Central Florida. He has been recognized by his university with the College Outstanding Researcher Award, the BGSU President’s Award for Community Engagement, the Faculty Excellence Award in Teaching with Technology, the BGSU Center for Faculty Excellence Award for Making a Difference, College of Business Faculty Service Award, and the College of Business Award for Engagement with Industry.

    In addition, he has received the Outstanding Article Award, along with the Communicating OD Knowledge Award from the OD Network. At the end of the day… and most importantly, Steve, Dad lives with his wonderful partner-in-life Jacque and sons Deakon, Roman, and Logan on a farm that has a pond, fire pit, ATVs, combines, garden, chickens and more, with a fun and far-reaching extended family in Ohio and the Southeastern United States.
